Kyrrex is a pioneering crypto exchange platform dedicated to transforming the usability and security of crypto services globally.
Beyond just an exchange, Kyrrex offers a comprehensive digital banking experience, enabling users to manage a variety of assets—crypto, fiat, and stocks—all in one secure platform.
In my role as a UX/UI Designer at Kyrrex, my main goal was to simplify the overall look and feel of the app, ensuring that our users had the best possible experience while using our platform. I focused on creating designs that were not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly, even for complex tasks.
To achieve this, I collaborated closely with the Head of Product, Product Owner, and Business Analysts. Additionally, I worked with various teams to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, ensuring our designs were both visually appealing and functional.
Since joining Kyrrex, my responsibilities and opportunities have expanded significantly. Initially hired as a UX/UI Designer for the Web Platform, I am now responsible for both Web and Mobile App interfaces.
My role encompasses a wide range of tasks, from conceptualizing quick ideas to delivering fully developed, ready-to-implement designs. Additionally, I have the privilege of mentoring a junior designer, guiding their growth while they assist in achieving the company's objectives.
In my work, I strive not only to complete assigned tasks but also to proactively seek improvements, ensuring our UI and UX remain current and adhere to best practices.
Here’s a snapshot of my typical design process:

One of my primary responsibilities was to develop a cohesive and efficient design system. The existing setup included multiple UI kits, components, and styles for each file individually, leading to inconsistencies and duplicate elements across designs. My objective was to reorganize and streamline these assets into a unified system.
To tackle this, I established separate files for our Design Tokens and Components Library, standardizing all elements with variables and implementing a 4px grid system. This meticulous organization ensured that all components were consistent and easily accessible.
The outcome was a comprehensive and coherent design system that significantly enhanced collaboration between designers and developers, and streamlined communication across all teams.
As I previously mentioned, my role at Kyrrex encompasses a diverse range of tasks, primarily focusing on both our Web and Mobile Apps. Over my tenure, I've successfully completed numerous projects, and I'd like to briefly highlight a few key initiatives:
Crypto Loans
I designed the crypto loans feature to enable users to use their crypto assets as collateral and obtain loans seamlessly through our app. The final design emphasizes clarity and security, with a clean visual layout that aligns with Kyrrex’s brand, making the loan application and approval process straightforward and accessible for users.
Derivatives Trading Platform
Designing for derivatives trading presents ongoing opportunities for enhancement. Our initial approach was to launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to establish a strong foundation. From there, we planned to incrementally add features to optimize the trading experience. My focus was on laying the groundwork with a user-friendly interface, setting the stage for future developments.
KYC Verification Redesign
Simplifying the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process was critical, as seamless onboarding is vital for user retention. Given Kyrrex’s commitment to compliance and security, a one-click verification wasn’t feasible. However, I streamlined the process as much as possible, integrating reward mechanisms to enhance user engagement. I’m eager to test this redesign and gather user feedback to further refine the experience.

Mobile App Redesign
I’m always proactive at work and try to look for an ideas, share it with the team. So while we started working on mobile app, I was just looking around and share some of my thoughts, but the longer we go, the more I felt I can contribute to this part very well. So I became responsible for some part of redesigned mobile app, and then I took all the responsibility over.
I think we did a great job there, and the more fresh and new UI, as well as improved UX will work quite well, but obviously we are looking forward to receive some feedback from early tester and we will make more iterations as we go. Here are also some shots with the new updated look of Kyrrex App.
Since joining Kyrrex, my role has expanded from a UX/UI Designer for the web platform to overseeing both web and mobile app design.
